Honda don't sell a CBR600 anymore. Yamaha still do the R6 but's lower power and more expensive than ever. Kwak only make the 636 thing, Triump have dropped the 675? and Suzuki aren't selling the new 600 in the UK?
I've read that sales figures for the 600s are also utterly dire. Before they got axed some of them weren't even selling 100 bikes a year in the UK. Seems weird that was essentially a major category when I started on bikes is pretty much dead now. If you could ride a bike well you only needed a 600, they were everywhere. Now they're nowhere.
Seems odd WSB have culled 1000SS but are keeping 600s which are utterly irrelevant at the moment as road bikes.

750s are long gone too, won't be long till there won't be any sports bikes below 200bhp...
It sucks really, I for one am quite happy with 150bhp, and don't want to be forced to go bigger.

Apparently there is a big market in Asia for 600s.
Rumours are that Suzuki will be launching a new GSX-R750 this year, or possibly year, but I can only assume that it'll still be based on the old 600, not the 1000, but updated to comply with Euro 4 standards.
