Press conference was hilarious.....but expected. Wilder does seem rattled....whatever, should be a good watch!

Weigh in next? More fun if so.
Ring walks scheduled for 4am Sunday.

Ring walk is more likely after 05:00 unless a couple of undercard fights finish early.

Can't we amalgamate this with the Brexit thread. It will work really well

I hope Wilder loses his shit and blows himself out early. He's quite durable though isn't he?

Wilder kept his composure at the weigh in. Fury looks better without the beard.

They robbed him! Fury will be even sharper in the rematch. Knockdown aside (the first knockdown was a slip) Fury won every round with ease. Phil Edwards is a cunt!

Unfortunately I couldn’t get a live stream here....general concensus seems to be that Fury was robbed despite out boxing Wilder. Got to be a re-match.

I saw it. It was a good fight. We also thought Fury had won. Fury was the more consistent of the two and boxed well. The knock downs looked innocuous and in part I felt by such a big man getting into odd positions to dodge punches. At the final bell everyone looked at me like I was mental when I said the judges could do anything. I suppose a draw is fairer than a Wilder decision but hey, a draw almost forces a lucrative rematch yeah?
I wish the post match respect was more neutralized as it just emphasizes the panto of the build up.

Not sure what one judge was on. $$$ on the side probably.
Wilders big attempts looked like closing time at bar a lot of the time but the last one was a bit more precise. Surprised Fury got up. Wonder if Joshua would have? Not sure if that performance will tempt Joshua to have a crack at Wilder though? Thing is though I reckon Joshua would go about it differently and maybe get sparked.

This morning I was fuming. Time and time again boxing shows itself up for the corrupt bullshit it can be. The result spoils and taints a good fight. Fury will be closer to 100% whoever he fights next. Wilder proved although outboxed by the superior boxer, he can hang in there and make a fight of it with anyone. Make no mistake, Joshua would have lost to both men last night.
I scored it 116 - 110 to Fury. Wilder only won the 2 knock down rounds the 9th and 12th. Bastards!

Even adding up all the points, Wilder won by two.
Given the fortunes involved, surely there is scope for a different system for world title bouts.
