Final race weekend of the season and the timetable's right fucked up.
Race one is 5pm FRIDAY!!
Eugene fastest after day one, hope he can finish the season on a high and secure something decent for next year.

Yeah, I saw the timings on Eurosport and I thought that they were a a bit odd.
Eugene definitely deserves a ride WSB; he is a world class rider and, by all accounts, the support from Aprilia has been practically non-existent. All of the "factory" seats available for next year have been taken bar the 2nd slot at Ten Kate Honda. I think that he would settle for a well funded and competitive satellite team e.g. Althea BMW, Puccetti Kawasaki or GRT Yamaha and I can't see him moving to BSB as there's not a lot left there either!

Can you imagine if the title fight went down to this weekend and nobody (Europe anyway) could watch R1 as they were commuting.
WSS is going down to the last race with Cortese having a 5 point lead on Cluzel.
If Cluzel wins he takes the title on countback.

R1 wasnt too bad, some good racing behind Rea and Sykes. ELav very nearly lost it in the last corner, did well to finish 4th.
Currently its pissing down according to the WSBK FB page.

WSS warmup has just started. Someone on FB said there was a sandstorm before the thunderstorm so god knows what state the track will be in.
PROVISIONAL NEW SCHEDULE:
WorldSSP at 14.45 (15 minutes WUP)
WorldSBK at 15.10 (15 minutes WUP)
WorldSSP at 16.15 (Race-15 Laps)
WorldSBK at 17.45 (Race-17 laps)

Fuck me, what a race in those conditions. Hats off to Cortese, he could have lost the plot when he got pushed down to 3rd but kept with it. Credit to Cluzel for trying so hard, I thought he had it with a few laps to go. Apparently thats the 6th time he has been pipped to a title.
