Tbh, I thought Redding would be quicker given Bautista's outings in WSB but I guess a)he broke his leg pre-season b)he had another painful off this morning c)by his own admission the circuit is a handful and he only did 17 laps before the round. d)the bike isn't the beast it is in WSB. It's not making time up down the straights at all. Are UK circuits fast enough to use the aero? e)some people seem to have found something this season (some like Ray have lost something)

Personally after what I saw today, I think Redding is the title favourite. If he can be that competitive at Oulton after less than 20 laps testing, then he will make it into the top 6 with a handful of podium credits and romp the last three rounds.

Thought you had McKenzie down? Or have you now cursed him? What is Ellison playing at? Thought he'd retired?

He should have retired. He has been past his sell by date since 2017. Mackenzie was my pick and I can see him being top 3 but I think Redding will do it this year and then take Chaz Davies ride in WSB.

This is Whitham on Ray. Sounds mental seeing as the other Suzuki was going ok at Silverstone.
What’s happened to Bradley Ray? Well, the whole Buildbase team had a bad weekend. Luke Stapleford fell off and knocked himself about and Brad is just generally struggling to find grip, to find a feeling that he can cope with plus he’s probably lost a bit of confidence.
But there’s no question in my mind that Brad is a very talented lad and we haven’t seen the best of him. But there’s something fundamental that needs sorting out.

What suspension are Buildbase running? Is Hicken still forcing the team to run WP on the bikes because of family connections. Last year Ray went really well at Suzuka on different suspension then back to struggling on the Buildbase. OMG who are spanking the official Suzuki team are on K-Tec and a shed tuned motor. Ray's career has stalled and he either needs to get off that bike or stand up to Hicken and change components.

At Silverstone Brookes had 2 blow-ups (Q & R2) & 1 electrical failure in R1.. At Silverstone he was quickest in FP1, 4th in FP2, 2nd in FP3, qualified 18th (engine blow-up), so there is nothing wrong with the bike (when it finishes). Bridewell had 2 2nds at Oulton. When Redding is fully fit and at familiar tracks I reckon he will a front runner.

Stupid haircuts and flamboyant behaviour kill a career, almost every time.
Look at Slight. Stupid haircut, never won a title. Gobert stupider haircut, retired in crime. Even when Foggy used too much highlight he went through a bad patch. Nicky Hayden went from championship haircut to lucky to see the podium even in WSB with daft haircuts. Abe had lovely flowing locks but those weren't good enough for regular results.
Look at the greats. No silly haircuts. Rossi took to having a mohawk and instantly broke his leg. Almost wins the title with sensible hair in his later years.
Bradley Ray needs to get a sensible short back and sides and take Scott Redding with him.

Look at Eddie Lawson, never crap always had a sensible haircut. Even boring Gardner flirted with blonde highlights before getting real and a world championship.
