They just mentioned on Eurosport that nothing has been confirmed for the UK 2019 round. Palmer (MSV) wants both races on Sunday as he seems to think the UK spectators want that, which might be correct. If he doesnt get what he wants he might not host a round. Would Silverstone want it back, they couldnt wait to get rid as hardly anyone went. They also mentioned something needs to be done to make the end of season more exciting. Showdown? *shudder*. Getting someone to challenge Rea would be the best bet rather than dumbing it down.

Numbers appear to be down for the series after the changes to race day. Then again numbers would still be down as nobody gives a toss. Been watching old races from the early 2000s and some of foreign rounds were still pretty well attended. I bet nobody goes now. Even we've given up on WSB.

They should take it back to basics. Ask Droog about the technical stuff, me about the calendar and anyone about wildcards.

For WSB to prosper, it needs new owners. Go back to silhouette rules. Basically stock frame but additional strengthening allowed, standard crankcases and whatever you want for the rest as long as it looks like the doner bike. Fuck the one make tyre rule off. Guaranteed within two years Rea will lap faster than Marquez on same circuit.

I agree with Droog regarding specs and tyres but would want to take it a stage further, drop the world and change it to European. The stupid early start on flyaways then massive gap before starting proper pisses me off. Then another break in August disrupts any flow and makes people lose interest, that’s if there was any to begin with. Cost savings to teams would be huge as a bonus.

WSB could race three times in the UK, four times in Spain, twice in Italy, Assen, a circuit in France and Germany and still be a world championship without leaving mainland Europe lol. I'd only miss Phillip Island if they did that.

Sugo was fun for wildcards but the track was a bit boring.
