Got some BKS from ebay and they're a 52 and whilst they are great quality, they don't fit comfortably, I'm a bit too tall (5'11). The problem is the 54s are too baggy. Any leather makes do stuff for people who don't resemble Karl Harris?
At the rate I 'm going I'm going to end up with top by one brand and trousers by another and braces. Oddly enough I have a nice 'fashion' biker jacket that I never sold and that's 40 and fits great. Sizings seem all over the place.
Too poor to afford made to measure.

Give Wolf Leathers a try. I've had my 2-piece set for 10yrs and the fit is good; I'm 6' 2" and 14st, slim build, short legs and long back for my height. The jacket arms are a tad too short, but I do have an ape factor of 4" so what can you do? I bought them from the NEC Bike Show and I could mix and match the jacket and jeans.

I am a reverse ape. Long legs, short body (which is why some of the jackets seem REALLY short for their width).

i shelled out for a set of RS taichi leathers in 1999 and they're brilliant. i wear them a lot. meetings. work. scratching. they're perfect. i'm the same as you meeks. build-wise so had to get the knees altered slightly but twenty years in the same leathers is some going i think. they're cool as fĂșck too.

+1 on RS Taichi's. Spannered mine a bit in a high speed get off years ago & BKS repaired them. Founder of BKS said they are the only leathers they repair as they wouldn't guarantee anyone elses. He admitted they copied Taichi's seam design as it was so strong. They nearly killed me though, I refused to let doctors cut them off & got out of them myself with major internal injury. Docs discharged me thinking there was nowt much wrong with me. Punctured lung & broken ends of bone pinching an artery (gulp). F**n tightwad.
