What a bike the VFR750 is. I should have listened to Masonmart years ago when I used to take the piss and say it was a pipe and slippers bike. It's pretty much any damn bike you want it to be!
Never been on something with such a smooth motor. No real kick in the pants just speed on tap if needed. It's just like my NC30 but with added sauce.
What a purchase. Feel like I'd just got my balls back out of my wife's purse. I'm pretty shit at the moment but the skills will return.

Nice one.
How often are you going to ride it? Is Mrs M taking the TT out?

Bought a set of BKS off eBay in a UK 42 but they are well tight. I'm still a slim 5'11 but they are a bit short and really tight around my knees. I've been crippled with knee pain past couple of days, like I've been kneeling down too much. The suit obviously has been compressing the knee.
Think I'm going to have to actually go to the shops and try some on. Case of suit fits standing up but not on bike.
Need to work on low speed stuff, I'm a bit wobbly at those speeds. Was going fairly quick in the faster stuff more easily.
My wife hates the TT. Steering is heavy and the clutch has an odd biting point.

Sounds like you are chuffed to be a biker again, and that is the main thing.

Still in the 'FML that's fast' mode. I honestly am blown away by the acceleration. I know the zx6r had about the same power but it didn't take off like this thing. Funny how in car terms the Audi is reasonably quick, even the 180hp version but it's like Morris Minor compared to the bike.
Really hard to stay legal though. I went out today and there was a long stretch with nothing on it.....had to pin. Even when I'm trying to do 30 speed creep sets in unless I'm looking at the speedo. I guess I'll get used to it but when I do 120 in the car it feels fast, didn't feel too much the couple of times I've done it on the VFR.
The lastest hyperbikes must be a near to God experience on full gas.
