Just been looking at the Motoamerica superbike results. Toni Elias, Roger Hayden, Josh Herring all front runners. This is worse than when Rutter and Walker were dragging it out in BSB.
Does America have any more Nickys or Spies? Or are they out for the foreseeble future?

Its a shame. Not as if they have players in WSB to account for it.

Before last year, I would say Cameron Beaubier probably had the best chance of getting at least a WSBK ride. But the fact that Toni Elias, who nobody on the world scene thought much of anymore, started winning right away in Moto America, and won the championship last year, I think that made the American competition look even worse. I think both JD Beach and Jake Gagne are Red Bull Rookies champs, but if I'm not mistaken, JD is mired in the supersport class here and we've all seen how pedestrian Gagne has looked in WSBK this year (granted, the bike is a bit on the shitty side).
So to answer the question, I'd say it's not looking good for the future. There's just too much competition coming from Spain, Italy and BSB, that I think teams don't even bother looking stateside anymore.

Someone will pop up over the next 5 years or so. Probably have to bypass MotoAmerica though.
