Well, Tommy Bridewell's 1st weekend on a Ducati was going well until he tipped off in Q1 and spoilt has good work. Whit had an interview with him and asked the obvious question - Is his target to beat whoever is now on his old ride? I though his none committal reply was well measured, but underneath I guess it is.

Brad Ray has gone right off the boil lately. Decent days racing and nice to see Ryde and Brookes return to winning ways. Felt bad for Taylor in superstock.

Brookes could win the title if he rides like that every race. Can you imagine if Haslam didn't win.
Glenn Irwin needs sacking off. He's not that x factor to win races. He's not even a decent wingman most of the season. I doubt Birdy wants to finish 2nd.
Wish Iddon would actually start doing something. Full of promise but nothing ever comes. Don't think it will now.

I didn't hear it mentioned, but you have to believe he took some pleasure passing his old bike today Nice to see Ryan back on the top step in stk6 too

If its level pegging going into the last round, at Brands Hatch again, You would have to favour Brookes. But will he get enough points in the next 5 rounds? Haslam has finished off the podium just twice so far.

Sounded like Tommy Bridewell had different ideas to Colin Wright, wouldnt listen to what he had to say. Wright said when he got home he would write a letter to Bridewell explaining why he got sacked but he said Bridewell wasnt interested in his advice. There are 2 sides to every story, hopefully it will work out for everyone. After his Brands performance it could be that Bridewell joining Moto Rapido team might be a god send.

Haven't given up on Ray just yet, I think he's better than the bike and having to push hard to stay in top 5. The double win and early podiums were on damp or drying tracks where the rider can make a big difference. Last 3rd of the races at Knockhill the Suzuki was sliding all over the place. Current heatwave isn't helping his cause on that bike.
Think Whit hit nail on head regarding Bridewell. Jumps on new bike/team and goes really well then fades. He may be a bit of a Hizzy, loads of natural talent, emotional and struggles when he has to think his way out of a problem. Sort of character Wright would hate. That said, think he's more deserving of a decent ride than Mossey and race 2 result was superb considering how little practice he had.

For the first four rounds last year Luke Mossey looked like a real championship contender but ended up not even making the showdown and hasn't been on the podium for over a year. It's weird how riders can become "crap" overnight, did he get injured last year? Hopefully Bradley Ray can get picked up by a top Bsb team (Shakey's ride or Haslam's if Leon goes to wsbk). There was a load of talk of Ray going to wsbk on a Yoshimura Suzuki but I can't see that achieving much).
Glad to see Kyle Ryde back winning and looking so happy again on Sunday. He's only just 21 so still has plenty of time.

I think he broke a vertebrae last year and this year at Snetterton his brakes failed at the end if the long straight and he had to jump off, broke a rib.

Mossey was interviewed last race I think and kept going on about 'we' need to get our confidence back. No 'we' when it comes down to it. That's just deflecting from him not being up to it.
BSB is entertaining but I'd like a see a big shake up as it's getting a bit familiar. If Shakey retires (I reckon he's only not said it yet so Birdy can try and sort sponsors out) and Haslam goes that should leave spaces, what with Ellison also going.
Sykes should come back to BSB. He's nowhere to turn to in WSB that'll get him on a podium and Motogp won't be interested.

I'd still like to see Sykes on a MotoGP bike for a season even if just to put to bed the talk of his style suiting less restrictive rules. I reckon he could get regular top tens on a year old Yam or a Duke. And regular top tens is an achievement in this era.
