The Aprilias have been going well this weekend, maybe helped in the standings on Friday by a washed out FP3.
FP4 it looks BAU, Rea, Davies and Sykes.

GiGi is there. Could Norge be conducting a high-speed job interview in front of his old mate?

A 3rd in R1 might help him.

It was much better when they went the other way around. I saw the last 10 minutes of R2, it was closer than R1.

I prefered the old layout. There was an excellent series of corners in the other direction that were a joy to watch. Remember a good 500GP race there in 86 or 87 with Mamola involved in a good dice. And who could forget Bontempi in WSB on the Kawasaki rear wheel steering his ZXR when common belief was only the top 500GP gods could do it.

More tedium. Worst part is there's nobody there! The stands were totally empty.
Motogp is Waitrose or M and S Food and WSBK has gone from being Sainsburys to Jack Fulton.

My missus walked through the front room as I was watching WSB and said there is no one there lol. Constantly tinkering with the rules in a bad way has turned the series into a joke. I don't like to see success punished but the series should have shoved Rea into MotoGP regardless of whether he wanted to go or not.

Said it before but they need to harmonise WSBK rules across all countries and championships, bring it closer to Superstock engines with BSB electronics. Then you will bring in more local riders like Toprak. WSBK really needs teams and riders from USA and Southern hemisphere in order to expand fanbase. Camier is still a top 3 rider and even with factory support he struggles to get into the top 6 or 7 and yet, the Fireblade was getting regular BSB podiums before the team got decimated by injuries. Something is still not right with WSBK rules.
