The weather is looking fairly decent over the next few days, bright and sunny up to mid-20s. Last year;
Race 1
1. Davies 2. Rea 3. Sykes
Race 2
1. Rea 2. Sykes 3. Davies

Can't see much deviation from that.
Still love the track.

I fancy Lowes for a podium in one of the races. Can see Davies having a bit of a shit weekend. Again.

FML, WSB is truly in the toilet at the moment. Didn't actually watch the race but looking at the finishing times I can tell it was probably a snoozer.
Just kill it already.

He's the guvnor for a reason.
Razgatlioglu only suffered a fracture in his big toe after that interesting corkscrew exit. Enough to keep him out of race 2 though.

Well that was ok for about as long as it took for Rea to overtake Laverty.
Series needs putting out it's misery,

The thing is, a few rounds ago, "we" were raving about the racing in WSB! IMO MotoGP should be canned because the MotoGP race at Catalunya the other weekend was a yawn fest; JL out front and MM trailing behind in 2nd, Rossi in a safe 3rd for the third race in a row blah, blah, blah...
... swings and roundabouts!

I must have missed that...Its been fucking shite for a few years now...Daft as it sounds, Rea not going to GP is the final nail in the coffin for me

Barely been a race I can remember this season. Or the last few tbh.
BSB on the other hand is pretty good since the downgraded the bikes a bit and ran stock ECUs. I will stay in to catch BSB some days, not a chance with WSB given I've already forgotten there was race on the Saturday.

I agree with Mekon, BSB has given much better racing with spec ECU and no electronic aids, get it out of WSB and I think the racing would improve no end.

Do you know what, I take it back about the raving bit! There have been a few outstanding races this year that have been close, but on the whole the podium has been a bit strung out most of the time. I've had a look back through the posts in here, as well as the results, and it's all been a bit "meh!" I don't think that it's time to put WSB to pasture, but it definitely needs an overhaul. The thing is, Rea is an exceptional rider, on a well sorted bike and the rules aren't helping WSB's cause.

They capitulated in MotoGP on cost grounds, because it was getting out of hand, but WSB is their last bastion of electronic development in racing (not sure about AMA).

What's she done now? Or do you just like talking about Ms Brock?
