Two Wheels Edinburgh....was my nearest Triumph dealer when I lived there. Did you know that Saltire went into administration? Seemingly no cunt knew. Workers turned up to find the doors locked, shoddy as fuck. Also, fuck knows what you would do if you had a bike in the workshop or had paid for a bike that you hadn't yet collected. Industry is seemingly quite precarious although paulg seems to be doing OK.
It has picked up recently but overall this year has been fucking gash. With Completley going, Pidcocks going and numerous other high profile closures it has been very bleak in this job...But, we keep going. Fuck all else to do I guess.
Oh, and yes...Buy a Speed Triple, you wont be disappointed.

A WMB Logistics truck was picking up all of the new and unsold Yamahas from Completely Staverton last week (Gloucester/Cheltenham). The Kawasakis may have also gone, along with MV and Honda, all on the same industrial estate. CMB only bought out Thunder Road a few months back and the Gloucester branch had just moved to Staverton: what was Thunder Road is now Infinity M/Cs.

Sounds grim, probably not one single reason....cost of living, new bike prices, sales went up after Covid so maybe people are hanging on to what they have rather than trading in. Also average age demographic, I hardly ever see youngsters riding bikes on my travels, when I say youngsters I mean 25 - 40.

This will not come as a surprise to anyone, but my boss knows the Completely Motoring Group's ex-owner (they started in Gloucestershire) and it appears as though they expanded too quickly, taking on too much high end stock, whic they weren't able to sell Maybe Gloucester is the exception, but we do seem to have a lot of young riders coming through, mainly riding cheap Lexmotos.
