Hard to see past Peco for this one. He's there with speed, fitness and he's just signed a new contract. Add to this that the 2024 Ducati doesn't seem to need the normal 2 months to get settings right before it is competitive (for the first time in years) and its his to lose.
Martin has the bike, but the contract talks must be getting to him. Knowing your boss is negotiating with your replacement can't be good for you inner swede peace.
Bagnaia is probably Peco's biggest threat being the only person who might be able to give him a fight, but I think he'll respect the team for the first few races at least, he has too much to lose.
Other Ducati interests are either recovering from injury (is Morbidelli even riding?) or on last years bike right? (which is usually an advantage early on but doesn't seem to be the case thgis year).
Anyone who isn't on a Ducati will obviously struggle to get on the podium, although Aleix might step up if the stars align.
Good luck to the HRC riders. Hope they didn't watch the Superbikes a few weeks back!

Or did you mean Martin is Bagnaia's only threat? But yeah, I pretty much agree with the rest; KTM and Aprilia still seem to be a little bit too inconsistent, but they'll be in the shout for podiums and the occasional victory. I would like to see either Miller, Viñales or Rins win, just for historical reasons... well, since the four stroke era started anyway! I'm not sure about Yamaha and Honda; they may come out of the blocks fighting, but I can't see it. But, this is motorcycle racing, so any thing can happen!

Anyone think Acosta could do a Marquez this year?
Big ask on the ktm. Maybe if he had a Ducati.

I had to check to refresh my memory but MM was "only" 3rd in his first race.. so I guess there's a chance Pedro could start off that way, but that means being in front of at least 6 (or 5, still can't find if Morb is racing) Ducatis. MM didn't have that challenge to cope with!
