Andrea Ianonne only .2s a lap down already. Could be a challenger if Toprak can turn the BMW around and Bautista suffers under the weight penalty.

Toprak has been at Portimao. Says the BMW has potential. Not sure if that's good or bad.

If he said it didn’t have potential I’d call it bad. He’s already had a crash and said he’s learning how to ride it. He won’t be riding like the Yam that’s for sure but he’ll have the power on the straightaways and if he can get a front end feeling he’ll be a contender.

Its only testin but...
Impressed by Bulega, Alvaro seems to have injury problems (I'll call retirement this year), is Bulega going to be the one to take over lead role in Ducati WSB?
Not too shabby from Iannone either all things considered.
Toprak going to make Redding look mediocre this year I'm afraid.

Things are shaping up nidely for 2024 then.
Is Bulega's form a flash in the pan or is he really that good?
Toprak on the BMW is also a bit of a surprise, I expected him to be top BMW, but not podium level out of the box.
Iannone is nothing short of spectacular IMO. I see he's feeling pretty confident himself, but who can blame him?

Bullyboy will hopefully not replace Baustista and run away with it like he did in Wss. Good that we have some change though. Redding did end up faster than Toprak but I'd put race money on Toprak. Rea on the Yamaha is the interesting one. Basani probably should have stayed with Ducati

I’m interested to know where the weight is positioned on Bautista’s bike and what impact it makes on the performance. He’s miles away at the moment.
