Great Race 2! I really enjoyed that.
I got the feeling that Toprak and Alvaro did too. Not sure that Rea did though.
Congrats to Alvaro obvioulsy. I think he deserved the champioship despite his supposed weight advantage. Quite surprised that the organisation have made moves to take weight into account as from nest year really.

He does have a weight advantage, but he also has a great bike that can win at shorter twistier tracks like Portimao or Donington where there are no long straights for the Ducati to blast away, but also at tracks like Aragon with the long straight. It's the all round package.

Anyone think that maybe some of those who chose to jump (Rea / Toprak) might now be thinking it could have been worth staying where they were if Alvaro is going to have 5 - 6 kgs of ballast on his bike next year?

Rea is moving to a winning bike but maybe TR made the R1 look better than it really is?...he's over 200 points ahead of his teammate. Not sure what to think about the BMW move, TR will have his work cut out I think.

It was pretty good racing in WSB. WSS is wank and needs a Ducati rebalance. Fucking 934cc Duke vs 600cc is a bit off now.
The number of changes for the lead was pretty bonkers. It kind of illustrates how shit motogp is when you see how excited they got because Brad Binder literally got into the lead for a few corners. TNT lot are getting quite annoying now as they spunk themselves over what in reality is very little track action.
Hopefully next season will bring a few more people up front. I was expecting it this season tbh but it never really happened. Redding was shit on the BMW, Gardner never really lived up to his potential. Honda stayed shit.

Does WSS allow 750 fours like in BSS? The GSX-R is still available as new in countries outside of Europe, so it'd be like WSB from the 80s and 90s!

Superb racing all weekend in WSB; I didn't watch the support races, but I'm hoping to catch up at some point.
