What model of SLK is it? They all seem to be quite modestly powered apart from the SLK 55. It's a physically small car though so probably doesn't need much.
Loads of Merc owner forums online so should be able to find a potential solution to the leak before you part with cash.

Ive gone full chav...Couldnt help mesen. Sold a Transit Custom M Sport for a silly amount of money so I fancied summat quick. 270 on the dyno  Its fast and VERY noisy! The boy (6) loves it, the girls hate it!

My gay car saga has ended. I have bought the 2012 Slk 250cdi in dark blue. I will also buy some tiger seal and rubber reviver for the roof. Getting it on Sunday.

Well the SLK is mine and as I own it I then notice all the little scratches etc you didn't notice when you were supposed to. It's far from a shed but it's also not perfect but what do you expect for £4300. Roof didn't leak today either.
Handling wise I have no idea where the limit is. I feel a bit like Bautista on his MOtogp bike after coming from WSB. It's just not got that Mini sharp karting feel and I felt like the steering was directly back the grip in that as also a lot more taught. I guess this is a bit more grand tourer than rag-arse wanker. The automatic thing is quite really during general driving but the lack of instant throttle is a bit annoying, it sort of has to think about it even in sport mode. All the old cunts were out today for rememberance so the average speed back from the East coast was about 35mph. I barely got to open it up at all. By the time I got the A64 it was busy and it's also a bit of coppers speedgun spot.
Anyway, goodbye Mini you were quite an amusing car and surprised many a cunt with a much faster motor.

Get a remap. It was the best thing I did to my old diesel Merc. It'll be more responsive and will generally be a more involving drive. I even ended up with a top end. On a diesel. Get a reputable cunt to do it though.
