Looks like Bautista is cracking under pressure again.
Needs to get himself a decent shrink cos he’s throwing points away stupidly.
Good race once he went down though.

Day 2 and normal service resumed. That sprint race last lap will have Rea wondering if signing for Yamaha will end any different. It was a good race though and Bautista kept his powder dry enough until the last lap.
WSS is more of a potential pisstake. 934cc Ducati vs 600cc inline bikes. Either Bulega is that good or it needs rebalancing again.
WSS300 was the usual wacky races. Entertaining though.

Tickets were only 45€ this weekend and included a couple of parade laps round the track on your bike (behind a pace car) and the place still looked empty from TV coverage.
Motorland is in big trouble, they appointed a new manager recently after the last one got fired for mismanagement, but I wonder if it is a case of too little too late. I wonder how long it will stay on the calendar.
It does provide good racing though. Tuuli's crash might be raising some safety concerns?
Bautista does seem to try really hard to throw away his advantages when he gets them! Redding appears to have practically given up on the BMW.
Good to see McPhee got a ride after being dumped, P13 on a bike you've never ridden before isn't too bad.

3 day attendance was something shit like 30k. I thought the Spanish were bike mad? Even a Spanish champion not enough to tempt them?
BSB pulls better numbers than that quite easily.

Nearest populus is Zaragoza and thats 100kms ……Barcelona and Valencia are a bit of a hike unless you make a weekend of it. |

Superbike has zero attraction in Spain, even with the Alvaro factor it is lagging way behind GPs despite being on free to air TV.

Rea is turning into a desperate crasher again like in the Honda days.
That was some awesome racing from Toprak and Bautista though. More over takes than a season of F1. Toprak didn't seem so happy with his 2nd places though.
