Not a bad weekends racing overall apart from the last Bautista getaway. The SS300 was mental. Well the ss600 class seems to have a Ducati problem like WSB but like WSB it seems to be a one man problem. Still not sure a 934 Ducati should be racing an inline 600 but whatever.

Good 1st superbike race and the sprint race delivered big time as usual but you’ve got to question the investigation of the two “incidents” Redding clatters the son of god and gets 2 long lap penalties. The championship leader clatters Rinaldi and there’s no penalty. In my eyes both riders were equally negligent and even after the Yamaha team protested it was still ignored. Fucking stinks!

One thing I did notice was that the Kawasaki seemed every bit as fast as the Yamaha down the straights......so I'm not sure Rea will have anything to smile about next year with Bautista still around.

It's not all about the straights though is it? A change of scenery might do JR a world of good! Let's face it, Kawasaki owe a lot to JR, and Sykes before him, but you have to look at the others riders on the ZX-10R... where are they? The occasional by Lowes, who may sneak a win when the big three have a DNF!

Toprak said in parc ferme that the rear was spinning up big time which explains why the Kawa had the edge on the straightaways.
