Lots of crashing today. Rea being one of them. I think he's done in terms of winning and totally done in terms of a title. Toseland was on about him going to Yamaha but that wouldn't be next year as he's contracted at Kawasaki?
Gerloff won't be in the good books after taking out Baz on the out lap.

That was a good race until Bautista cleared off. Pity the Brits couldn't hack the pace.

Finally caught up with the racing and much as I like Bautista it needed a different winner. Toprak absolutely amazes and defies probability. Yamaha are going to be fucked without him unless they pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat and sign a big name from motogp. Imola is a fantastic track and requires huge gonads. Hopefully it’s on the calendar again next year. Manzi is a lucky bastard not getting penalised for that move on Caracas..I He said as much in his interview but clearly the officials looked the other way.

Locatelli was much lauded but isn't going to be Yamaha's saviour. Disappointed in Gardner so far as well, he's not even really shown a flash of anything, even Bradley Ray looked better than him with less time on the bike.
Not sure what will happen to WSB in the years to come. Kawasaki need to make a new bike, Suzuki don't make one, The Honda seems flawed, some talk of Aprilia coming back and BMW need to figure out why they can't make a tyre last. This just leaves Ducati as the only ones with a real handle on the series.

Toprak overrides the Yamaha, he’s great to watch…nobody else pushes it so hard or can brake so late…a shame we probably won’t see him in MotoGP. I hope he doesn’t end up fighting for scraps on the BMW.
