Right, this cunting bike is trying to kill me.
A couple of weeks ago on the last stretch before into sherburn I had it wide open about 110, probably 4th? Getting into the top end of the rev range and it jumps out of gear. Then it seem to go back down into gear but I've just revved the tits off it. Back end locked for a second , rear got loose and I shit myself before grabbing the clutch and braking hard once the weave stopped. Put it down as one of those things.
Same stretch today, same result except I was quicker on the clutch today. Pretty much sure it came out at the same point on the road where it dips a fair bit. I did notice my chain perhaps seems a bit tight. All I can find online is people saying potential strip down.....

Unless your chain is really tight, it's sounds like you've got a gear selector issue or there's something up with the clutch. Will it go into 4th OK, or does sounds like your "grinding" gears?
6th went on my 750 K5 about 5 years ago and it worked out to be cheap to change the entire engine then to remove the engine, strip the gearbox, find out what was wrong, order parts out it back together etc.

Not had an problems getting it in any of the other gears. I was literally hammering along wide open probably about 12k and rising it jumped out into a neutral. It happened at almost exactly the same point in the road which is odd. I've had it wide open on other stretches and it's not done that. Could be coincidence happening in the same place but that's a bit odd?
Watched a GSXR box strip down.....just getting the cases apart seems like a nightmare and definitely a two man job to get the engine out in the first place.
