Going for an Aprilia 1-2 with Marini 3rd.
Maybe.
Be interesting to see what sort of top speeds the non ducati runners can manage.

I hope Peco doesn't finish after his stinking remarks after Le Mans. Basically he think they factory bikes need a performance advantage....FOR SAFETY. Too many riders are capable of winning and Peco doesn't like that. He wants maybe 4 good riders to fight with and that's that.
WHAT A STINKING IDIOT!

Was there something lost in translation? he doesn't come across as an arrogant, privileged twat!

I don't think so. It does seem he wants to go back the 90s when your factory ride meant that A Fernandez wasn't bothering you and aliens only fought aliens not commoners.

A bit lost in translation but also badly worded by Pecco. Herve was not impressed.
Is he right tough? are we seeing more crashed as the whole field is closer, a bit like Moto3?

Well the main problem is the bikes are relatively speaking.....too easy to ride fast. The 2 strokes were hard to ride and even equal bikes through the field would have still ended up with a spread across the field. Most motorsport has this problem now. Ironically GT3 drivers have been bitching about Rossi since he got faster and made the podium. How can a newcomer get so good?
The other problem is probably that the talent coming through is overall of higher quality. In 1998 and 1999 you had John McGuiness at Donington. The standard is now so high there's no room for Ant West or Bradley Smith.

Aleix seems to be a bit too highly strung for this lark. Crying is for death or winning, not Fp1.

No the most exciting sprint. Noticed the the grandstands were not packed and no one in the free areas.

Rins out probably for the rest of the seson. Tib and fib, needs external fixation.

Pecco is turning into annoying ponce. What was he crying about regarding Marquez ? It wasn't remotely close.
Think Marc's days are done. That thing that happened to Rossi has happened, people have realised he not on another level anymore. Well not done but his days of dominance are over even if he wins again.

Strange moto3 but plenty of action.
Moto2 ran out of steam but a wonderful run from Dicko.
Motogp much better than average.

I wasn't that interested in Motogp. Once Bags had scarpered and Martin was locked into 2nd it wasn't that exciting. Could have done without Marquez falling off to add some excitement but it never really happened for me. Same for Moto2. Good recovery by Dixon.
The Moto3 was the best but one minute there was a decent train, the next there was a 5s gap and the top 5 had cleared off. Oncu maybe needs to move up like Redding if he's too big.

Loved the M3 even though I was hoping for a bigger pack. Oncu is a great rider, but his team need to re-think his strategy or he will never win a a Moto3 race. After say 5 laps of not being able to gap the rest, he should have sat behind in 3rd/4th and conserved energy and tires. Then at the end try and make a break. Holgado was smart. Oncu's arm waving "I'm the fastest, sit behind me" thing is not going to win him any race. There is a pattern and it is not working.
M2 Good for Dix. but not the mose exicting.
Mgp. Shame that MM came off, might have made it a bit interesting. AM over getting sucked in at the end of the straight could have ended badly.
Miller, want him to do good, but seems to use up everything too early. Binder works his way forward.
Not this best Mugello race, but got to hand it to Bags, pretty dominant weekend.
Mobidelli beat his team mate.... yam are in big trouble.
Add: attendance figues were realy low from what i understand. Price was €150 per day! LeMans has €90 for 3 days....
