What is with the BMW? People who can't ride bikes to their ultimate limit all rave about it but I guess leaving journos spunking doesn't make a race winning bike.
The last 4 years its finished in the top 3 at BSB Superstock 1000. 2nd, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. It cant be that bad in Stock form.
No Ducatis.
I found the Superstock rules for 2021, and 4 cylinder 1099cc is allowed, subject to using the control ECU, no TC. Under 1000cc I think if the standard bike has TC then you can still use it.
BSB itself, BMW were 6th, 11th, 5th, 9th.
I guess the basic mildly tuned version is ok, but cant make it work for BSB and for WSBK winning upgrades to the electronics, under the series' balancing rules.
