Jesus H Christ Elnoodle. I totally understand your desire to visit other countries and sample their cultures but fuck sakes, I'm wondering if it's worth the hassle. I've not travelled abroad in 20 years, can't be arsed with the hassle if I'm honest. Your mini novel was a shithot read but I'm going to stick with cottages.com Still plenty of places in my country of birth I've not seen.

Were you tempted to sample the newly legalised green stuff to lessen the stress? No comment. I haven't seriously smoked for 20 years. I can't handle the modern skunk strains which are all the fucking rage now. However, when I was wee, I remember Thai stick being the holy grail when herbal was a fairly rare commodity. Strong enough without completing fucking your nut. The skunks are everywhere here but the Thai stick is the real nostalgia hit (allegedly).

One of the guys at my work is married to a Thai girl and recently flew back. Two other workmates are going out for a visit in a couple of weeks so I'll ask them abouts costs and all that shite. I've not smoked in about 3 years and recently in the workshop when Floyd's Comfortably Numb was playing on the speakers i commented to this guy that you needed to be properly stoned to appreciate that. Well next day he handed me a tiny bit of red Leb and i thought, fuck it I'll dig out the old pipe at the weekend. Not my greatest idea. I felt smashed out my skull but not in a good way. As old Tommy in Early Doors would say, "I'll stay on me own"

My passport was sent out on the 12th, after putting my application in 4pm on the 7th. Not sure what day it arrived as I've been away and didnt have to sign for the package. After hearing so many horror stories I was pleasantly surprised, that something that should be easy was easy. Anyone have a black ballpoint? I need one to sign it. Blue ink wont do. The passport is black as well. What happened to the return of the old blue colour that Brexit was all about

Aye mine is definitely black.
Glad it was quick, definitely a much easier process than it used to be. I guess they must run the biometrics from the new and old photos through some software and if it matches up then you're good to go.

Crikey noodle person, what a Godawful experience that obviously was for you. When I'd decided to move out here to the Philippines, I was looking at those multi-stop cheap* flights and it was the 30+ hour journey that put me off; I never even thought about having to do the luggage check-in at every stop.
Oh yeah, I applied for my passport in October and it arrived in less than three weeks.
