In Costa and some fat pansexual/he/she/it thing is infront of me with a dog. The dog has a jacket on saying 'diabetes assistance dog'.

What am I missing here? Maybe I'm generalising but unless it's type 1 diabetes it's probably your own fault for being a greedy cunt. What is the dog supposed to about your diabetes? Surely insulin and blood sugar testing is what you need, not a fucking sausage dog?!?

It's fucking coffee beans. Beans are beans. No doubt your coffee is from a unique independent coffee house using a blend of sustainable beans from a farm that paid their workers £200 a day etc. Etc.
My mate at work used to work in a paint factory he said it was all the same shit with different names on tins. It's coffee. It's not artisan stuff.

Im with Phil on this one, Costa coffee is absolute gash...Starbucks is slightly better but again, huge corp and I like to buy stuff local if possible. Appreciate thats not what this thread is about but Ive jammed my two penneth in regardless  |

Yeah we try to use independent coffee places too but most don't last very long. I fear we may lose many more this year what with insane utility charges. Out of nowhere, our daily charge doubled from last week. For small hospitality places, prices are going to have to rise but fewer will buy...

Two things. Coffee tastes are hugely different and small retailers tend to sell better tasting coffee than large ones.
The point of assistance dogs is to make people aware of pending hypos due to their superior senses. Like Eddie said. Dogs are amazing.

I had my car in recently and it was mildly terrifying when the dude was explaining his electricity consumption. He has a three phase connection (your domestic supply is 240v single phase) and his bills were about to go through the fucking roof. The real effect of this has not kicked in yet. Expect everything to become utterly extortionate this year. |
