My prediction. Ellison or Irwin either take Haslam out of one of the races or mess with him, Shakey wins and takes the title. He is rewarded with a pair of gold underpants from Birdy with #1 over his huge cock. Thats my prediction but could be wrong.

Haslam has the air of a man who will never be crowned BSB champion. Nice enough lad but then so are most of the BSB front runners. I think there is still time for a surprise.

Brands is Shakey's house. Weather looks decent enough, which is little bit of a shame if you know what I mean.
I'm there on Saturday.

Brookes and Ellison go well there as does Haslam. Ellison could well be the spoiler.

Get in there Brad Ray. He's been getting better and better and is at home at Brands as anywhere.

Leon must be praying that Ellison, Hickman, Mossey etc can get the wins and take the big points from Brookes and Byrne.
I hope Haslam lifts the title.

I think there is still time for a surprise. I couldnt find the video of Hitler's view of the 2014 Brands Hatch title decider where Kiyo bust a collar bone. Hopefully no surprises and Haslam will take the title to make up for last year's showdown fiasco. The 'real' points table is like this. I'd find it funny if Haslam won the championship but Byrne on 'real' points. Leon Haslam 295 Shane Byrne 282 Josh Brookes 270 Peter Hickman 248 Jake Dixon 232 Jason O'halloran 217

Bonus today was bumping into the Campbells. Yesterday, Niall hit a false neutral going into Druids and had to pull a big stoppie but the bike twisted on coming back causing a tumble involving a bang on a kidney. Blood in urine meant a trip to A&E but rider and bike both ok.
Really enjoyed the day. Could have been better though.

Leon Haslam 308 Shane Byrne 307 Josh Brookes 286 Peter Hickman 257 Jake Dixon 232 Jason O'halloran 227 Christian Iddon 207 James Ellison 196

Hopper had a bad end to his season going straight on at Paddock in qualifying, he hardly slowed down. Broken L2 vertebra and both knees crocked as well. The catch fence was just high enough to stop the bike going over the top.

We were right up the other end, but saw how high the bike went. I did some swearing and was mightily relieved to hear that he was on hands and knees afterwards.

Not looking good for Leon H now from the 4th row. His best bet would be a Sennaesque move to take Shakey out and hope anyone but Brookes wins.

Still the last race to go but Haslam has definitely folded unless there is an injury we don't know about being kept hidden. Byrne is the man in BSB. I don't think that Ducati is as good as he makes it look.

Still the last race to go but Haslam has definitely folded unless there is an injury we don't know about being kept hidden. Byrne is the man in BSB. I don't think that Ducati is as good as he makes it look. After the first race today they said Haslam had a clutch issue, which sounds plausible as it looked like he had trouble stopping the bike going into turns. A bigger issue stopping the bike in the last race, that was a scary crash. Lucky to get away with just a bust ankle. It continues to amaze me how they have the presence of mind to jump off a stricken bike, like ELav at Imola. Congratulations to Byrne though, Haslam's woes were nothing to do with him and he too had issues in the first race today. Shame it ended in a bit of an anti-climax. It must be the first time the top 3 order has been the same in Showdown & real points.
