I thought Dixon was going to be out with 2 neutrals or whatever going into corners, didnt expect a podium after that. Brilliant.
For Pecco, the start of the season must seem a long time ago, 0, 1, 11 points compared to 3 straight wins from the last 3 races. FQ has going to struggle overtaking Miller as the Duc could get just enough in front at the end of the straights. I bet he is a fan of the new chicane now.

Yeah Dixon has come on strongly. Humble pie with my opinions on him pre season.
Baggsy must have been a bit bummed to see FQ 2nd. Looked like he'd be making up 15 points at one point. I think AE is done

During warmup I think AE regretted his practising swapping bikes in case of rain. Jumped onto his broken heel. Ouch.

Sasaki, what ride. The next big Japanese rider along with Ogura? Taka crashed out from low mid pack. Thing Ai will get the LCR seat. BTW I wonder if some words were said to Chantra after that late pass on Ai. Great races.
Mgp, I don1t know, bet seem to be getting tedious, too much ducati cup? The only thing i found interesting was Quattaro getting second. Very good race. Yam has to make a faster bike next year.

The MotoGP riders seem to be towing the party line when they've been asked about the racing but I'm sure the doing is always more fun that the watching.
I must admit to fast forwarding a fair amount of the race as id started watching the main event late as I was trying to fix my car. Every move seemed to take about 5 laps to build up to.
The fact the qualifying is so close but the race was pretty strung out is annoying.

I went to the Red Bull Ring by bike, which was planned earlier this year.
Cards on the table, from around a week before my mates funeral I started to feel light headed, anxious, stressed and easily agitated (also tired, headaches, loss of appetite)..I put it down to having to speak at his funeral (I'm no public speaker!), but the feelings didn't go away and it's highly possible that I've been experiencing post trauma symptoms which can kick in at any time. For me it was 5 weeks after the accident. I also think that the thought of riding to Austria was having an impact on me mentally. On a positive note, since the bike trip I've started to feel better with only occasional feelings of stress/anxiety so hoping it continues. I have had 2 sessions with a phycologist which has also helped me understand what is going on and to be able to process it.
As for the trip, it was great but quite tiring giving the long days in the saddle with temps in the 30's. We always seem give oursdelves too many kms daily, oh, and my mate dropped his GS (whilst trying to park!), and a few kms down the road it went into limp mode. Luckily there was a BMW Motorrad 4kms away so we limped along the road to dealer. The bike went into limp mode whilst we were accelerating onto a dual carriageway, not good!..turned out to be a faulty throttle connection of some description but got it fixed.
Got to do the Grossglockner which wasn't possible last time I was there, it was fantastic and not rammed with traffic as I had expected.

The mind is a funny thing Beefus. It can unlock all sorts of stuff you think you've put past you or have previously rationalised. I think you have done the right thing by riding again, hard as it may be. In the long term, still riding is probably better than not despite the terrible situation you got put in.
