Wow. Just wow. What a race. Bautista was immense and nobody expected that but also nobody expected a podium for Redding. Brilliant dicing all the way. Race of the season so far for me.

Earlier Eurosport showed a Hockenheim race from 96 (or 97, Foggy on the Honda) and I was thinking we dont see races like that any longer. Well we did today. Best race for ages. Bautista and Ducati worried about not having their favoured tyre and he wins. Was it due to the spots of rain slowing the pace? Toprak dived under Redding at the same corner again, no contact this time and Toprak remained well within the white line. Redding not happy again. But at least he has got things sorted with the bike now, another podium. New swing arm for him works, but not for Baz? As mentioned after the first meeting at Aragon, I think a lot of the tuning needed was inside Redding's head. It will be interesting to see how vd Mark goes on his return.
ps how much time did Redding lose on the last lap with those 2 mistakes? It allowed Toprak to catch him up.

Sunday's racing didnt disappoint either.
Redding's crew chief said he thought the new swingarm was 20% of the total sum of improvements they have made on the bike. Maybe explains why Baz doesnt seem to have the same recent performance boost.
Aegerter DSQ'd today for playing hurt in the gravel yesterday trying to get the race red flagged, naughty boy. Seemed a decent bloke up till then.

WSB is far and away the most exciting race series for me. Three riders on three different bikes racing so close is a testament to the rules being spot on. This is the golden era right now. Soak it in.
The last couple of laps in the sprint race were fucking amazing. Got to hand it to Rea for that overtaking attempt and staying on board hitting the gravel at that speed. Kudos.
The title race is warming up nicely and Toprak looks possessed on that Yam. Shame about the 6 week break.

Great racing there, best of the season?....certainly a contender. Not sure what Redding appeared annoyed about in Race1 but he seemed to have calmed down post-race.

Great racing indeed, shame its always the same three at the top, but at least they're on different bikes.
I'm still undecided about Scott, clearly he (or they more like) have made a jump forward, but a podium still seems to be a thing of luck rather than outright speed and strategy. A bit unfair maybe, but if he could bet that extra few tenths (or even a better grid position) it would be a fairytale ending to him walking away from Ducati.
And that Aergerter shit? WTF?

Clipper, you might be undecided about Redding but i personally have decided that he is a mumping cunt and needs to get a new pair of baws. When he was on the Ducati it was "Toprak cut me up and robbed me of the win and I wanted to propose to my bird on the podium. Boo hoo "
Then he goes to BMW and when things aren't going well he's shaking his head after a lap. It's the clutch stopping him getting a decent start. Bautista's bike mulls him on the straight, he's too light and disadvantages bigger riders. Now it's Toprak's turn, he's too aggressive, he pushed me wide, Suck it up Scott. In case you didn't notice (he didn't, too far back) the racing at the front has been frantic and aggressive all season and no one else is complaining. I'm loving WSB at the minute and the aggressive overtakes are part of the reason i love it.

I'm undecided on the Aegerter situation. Granted he was out of order by putting marshal's safety at risk but clearly he was desperate to get a chance at breaking the win record and the main offender was Oncu who skittled 6 riders and was penalised with a long lap. Weird.
I predict that Dom will come back raging and blitz every cunt
