Early Fireblades? Worth it in 2022?

Still churning models over in my head. Weird how bike prices ebb and flow. I'm definitely getting rid of the RC390, it served it's purpose and is too slow for me to get any real kicks. Not sure about the SV as it sounds as good as any big capacity, big value V-twin. Won't take much to sort the handling -emulators, springs and maybe jack it up.

Perversely I'm currently mulling an old ZX6R over. It's a lockdown project, nut and bolt job and looks almost like a new bike. It's a 1997 ZX6R though. Then again I owned that 1995 one and that was pretty quick. I'm not bothered about new bikes as most things made in the 90s onwards seem to handle and actually some are quicker than current models.

Fireblade was always one of those bikes I wanted in the 90s though and feels like an itch I need to scratch.
