Haslam wild carding at Assen as Cresson and Pedercini have parted ways. Guess its down to money. Haslam not any higher than Cresson was. Has he gone off the boil? Glenn Irwin continuing his Silverstone form. Year of the Honda (with Glenn on it)? About time Honda won a title again. This century they won 3 times with Kiyo and more recently Lowes in 2013.

Honestly thought Haslam would get right back into it.

So did I. I am now wondering if having more WSB wild cards (now Cresson has left) is a good idea. Swapping between TC and no TC. 1 more poor performance in BSB at Oulton and I'm sacking him.

There comes a time in a rider's career when, although his mind tells him he's still a competitive racer, he actually isn't any more and younger riders are hungrier and making the moves he used to. I think that's where Leon is sadly. It's a racer's mentality. Look at Shakey, even after he was fucked and started punditry he still thought he could come back and win. Hard to retire but better to do it when you still can.
