A bit harsh, no advantage gained but rules are rules. Haven’t seen a proper shot of the JR/TR incident. Looks like TR went wide at T1, JR on racing line and they contact.

The R1 penalty looked wrong. As they mentioned on Eurosport, the curb is slightly raised higher then the green part and he didnt drop off the curb and didnt touch the green. Tyres are round in profile not square. The outside of the tyre was certainly above the green but not touching.
R2 it looked like Toprak went wide but from his onboard camera pointing back he was halfway on the curb, 1m off line, and Rea tried to overtake where there wasnt room. Havent seen a normal camera angle yet.
Good to see Redding doing better, his R2 time was 13s faster than R1 with probably more scrapping.

I've seen a video taken from the TT World stand and I think JR had every right to go for the undertake, you know neither is going to concede space.

I'm wondering if Toprak slowed a bit as well when he went wide, maybe Rea just did his normal thing. They are all so close that a tiny mistake can lead to consequences.

Last year Toprak got 55 points from the Aragon & Assen rounds. This year 64. But Rea/Kawasaki & Bautista/Ducati seems a bit stronger this year. Its going to be harder for him to catch back up.

I think Rea was trying to be the guvnor a bit too early on but I also guess that was an opening of sorts.

Toprak was wider than normal, but wasn't really leaving the gap which Rea expected... a bit of Aegerter / Vieti in there I reckon.

Redding losing 2 positions in the last lap of race 2 was a bit crap.
