Think Skinner is the real deal, if he's anywhere near the pointy end of the showdown he needs to go WSBK or GP's asap.

I think you are over estimating him. If he is real MotoGP level it will have showed with some dominant wins by the end of the season.
I know Rea took some time to warm up to WSB levels but you could still see it in him.
If he can't get the better of the seasoned veterans he's not going anywhere. McKenzie didn't go anywhere and he won the bloody title. You need that X factor buzz about you.

Dominated a normally close supersport championship at 18 and is on his 2nd season on a superbike. Rea went to WSB at 21 and took years to win his 1st title. This season will probably define his future but my opinion is that he can reach the top given the machinery.

I've read Rea's book and although a bit boring, it becomes clear that Honda never really committed to WSB post-Toseland. Rea would have probably won a lot sooner if he'd been on a Kwak or Aprilia but it is what it is. His Honda loyalty hampered him.
Stoner and to a degree Rossi changed the game up a bit in terms of what is 'young'. Whilst Jack Burnacle thinks 29 is a young old BSB age, you've got dudes like Marquez being Motogp veterans at 29. Colin Edwards didn't even get to Motogp until he was 29 or 30. It's also insane now how much talent has been brewed in the lower levels in Motogp. You are REALLY going to have to shine to pickup any sort of ride.

Even Doohan was 29 when he won 500 title. Not sure you'd get that long in gp now.

Dixon didn't get a World ride until he was 23 and arguably he's "made it".
By that example Skinner still has a couple of years. But I agree, he's going to have to go SBK or direct to Moto 2. The Moto 3 boat has sailed, which is a shame considering that he did the Redbull Rookies.

Dixon is living a charmed life given his race results. No use being fast on Saturday.
That 'must have a Brit in MotoGP' seems to have gone by the wayside for BT. Can't say I give a fuck about needing Brits in for the sake of it and TV rights.
Historically Silverstone seems to throw up odd results. It's a Mickey mouse circuit, the national.

Jake Dixon has been fortunate to be where he is now. Shows its still possible though, but doubt it will happen again. Whats his history? Loads of injuries. 3rd in BSS, 2nd in BSB, no podiums in Moto2 since 2019 and thats in decent team. He has potential though, thats why he is my fantasy team

Not sure. The one who does WSBK with the Rea bias is the most annoying. Greg Haines? Greg Haines is doing WSBK with JT I think. It wasnt him I was thinking off.
