MacKenzie the younger must defend his title or he'll never make that WSB move. It won't look good if Sykes wanders in and walks it. This said Redding didn't walk it but at least Sykes has ridden those tracks I suppose and is at least riding something more comparable to a WSB machine.

I'd be surprised if Sykes walks it. He's a fast guy but the competition will be fierce so I don't expect wins anytime soon. Young Mac should be favourite but who knows. Maybe O'H will luck out this year. Still think Taz will get his move to WSB even if he doesn't retain it.

Sykes unique ability to burn up tyres and fade badly will be exacerbated by no TC, think he'll get mugged a lot this year.

He's not that fast in testing but Haslam is also way down.

Looking through the times of recent sessions it seems quite a number of riders have a fast lap in 1'46s then their 2nd fastest lap is 1s down on that. eg 3rd session on Saturday, Sykes' 2nd lap was 1.4s slower than his fastest, and without that fast lap he would have been 15th. The only things which stand out are Brookes has competitive times compared to last year's poor efforts. Haslam is a bit off the pace. Its going to be really close this year. www.tsl-timing.com/file/?f=BSB/2022/221213sbk.pdf

Where is Jack Barnacle? Seems like we have Day instead.

Doing schoolboy motocross I think.
Is Day the annoying one with squeaky voice who gets all excited when nothing in particular happens?

Not sure. The one who does WSBK with the Rea bias is the most annoying. Greg Haines?

Maybe Burnacle just finally ran out of nicknames for riders?

Maybe Burnacle just finally ran out of nicknames for riders? In superstock 1000 he constantly called Lewis Rollo the burly Scotsman. Well I've met Lewis and the wee cunt's built like the gable end of a crisp.

Taz must be taking his cue from MM but not in a good way. Another heavy crash, this time at Silverstone test, suspected bust ankle. Skinner proving Knockhill wasn't a fluke, topping timesheets. Good lad.

Good lad. I was going to predict that young Skinner would win BSB but decided the Kwack wasn't up to it. Fuck it, i really rate the lad, he's my pick.
