Darren 'The Bummer' Binder seems to have sparked calls for a Motogp super-licence? Is this necessary?
Not so sure that is tbh as apart from Miller, everyone seems to be coming up through Motogp or maybe even WSB.
Would it be a prototype only licence or would you eligible to move up if you were hot stuff and won your national superbike championship? (Hopkins sort of thing)
Personally I think it's not needed and this is just one of those things, where it seems Binder has them in a contract they can't get out of. He'll probably do a season at the back of the grid and be forgotten. I can understand how some people probably don't want to see 'the dive bomb' though.

New regulations just because of 1 thing are the wrong thing to do. There was a regulation forbidding a rookie to go to a factory team iirc. That was scrapped. What happened to the points system?
There are plenty of existing regulations for riders taking the dangerous approach to racing. Binder got a DSQ for his efforts on Sunday. Given his history, I dont think he shouldn't be allowed to ride at the next race.
