I had hope for him after a decent(ish) KTM year. I thought maybe he'd figure the Honda out as it could maybe suit a rag it style of riding. Clearly what Marquez is doing is obviously more than it looks on the surface.

For the FRR competition I work out their price from points scored the previous season. I keep a spreadsheet of points etc and how they are doing currently against their points total from last year. After 11 of 18 races, Pol has 36.6% of the predicted points total compared to last year. One of the lowest. MM is 34% as he struggles with recovering from his injuries. Rossi has 55%. Bagnaia on the other hand has 329%.

Last year nakagami and AM looked like they were getting on with the Honda, now that MM is back, they are all doing pretty crap in races. Naka is doing ok in FP's and Q's though.

Never really thought of Pol as a rider who would win much even on top kit. He's an "also ran"..Surprised he got the HRC gig tbh, maybe he should've stayed at KTM but when HRC come calling is must be hard to resist.
