Fantastic Moto3 race again.......................... for 10th. WTF happened there? Hodgson said Fenati would lose his head in Q and he didnt. He said the same thing for the race. Fenati seems a changed character. Good win. Nice comeback for McPhee as well, despite going on the green on the last lap.

Looked to be Acosta who was a bit lost this weekend. Really didn't a breakaway would happen on such a slipstream track and that was unexpectedly a bit dull.
Oh well. Time for GP. Like to see Rossi finish top 10. Still think MM will bin it.

MM returned to being a tit mode. Well deserved 3rd for AE & Aprilia. Miller wasnt pinching that off him on the last lap. FQ on a different level.

Dixon first time on a MotoGP bike (2019 one, a bit slow lets remember), whats the expectaton? What has everyone else done? Race time behind winner Morbidelli +24, +15, +2, +2, +5, +5, +23 Gerloff +53 Crutchlow +40, +55 GG & CC were last, or 1 place ahead of last iirc. I think a decent result would be +40, cant see him beating anyone unless they go off track or something, there are no slow riders like Abraham to race against. 19th, +50.8s behind FQ was ok when you consider where the other Yamaha finished, 17th & 18th. Sounds like he will get another go on it.

Dixon is pure tokenism if he gets a proper ride. Plenty of riders I'd give a chance before him. Rather put ogura on it.

M3, Love or heate him, Fenati's weekend. 1 sst in pretty much every session. McPhee always in the wrong place, but still went from last to 11th. Good to see him fight in that pack at least.
Haven't seen M2, any good?
MGP, got that all wrong apart from VR not doing anything with a fairly good Q and Rins finishing on the podium.
Nice to se aprilia take their forst podium.

Thought Aesp deserved that one. Really hoped Miller wasn't going to take it at the last bend or on power.
Jake Roberts probably shot himself in the foot not taking the Aprilia ride as his season has been poor. He may not get a chance to ride in gp now other riders are looking strong

Me being told we were at the end of the pit straight was correct, but they went and started from the old start/finish place. Bollocks big disappointment.
From my perspective:
moto3 was a collection of sub races but good to see McPhee recover and do well in that group - if only he could do that in the leading group. Main event saw predicted winner with Rossi doing the opposite of what he did when he was young. A wonderful charge to the back of the race. Quatters looked really good - Lorenzo consistent. moto2 was interesting with the action at the front.
It was pretty cold.

FQ different gravy, shame MM screwed up his and JM's race, stupid move so early on cold tyres. Could've made thing a bit more interesting had they both stayed upright, although I doubt either of them would've been able to keep up with FQ's pace.

Well, either way Dixon didn't embarrass himself by any means. Not sure how relevant this is, but to throw in another comparison, Miller was 56.7 seconds behing the leader in the first race he completed in MGP, and he had already tested the bike and ridden the FPs of the previous race. You're right about the chance being given to Vierge though, it seems fair that Dixon does his home round and Vierge does his (or one of them...).

McPhee had a good race really, not letting the first corner get to him and plugging away paid off. In reality I don't think the Petronas SRT promises to move him into Moto2 were that reliable, but he won't have done hs prospects with another team any harm with that. Luthi's team need a new rider.....
Lowes was a bit diappointing though. Maybe a bit unfair and Navarro looked on form, but I thought Sam should have got the podium. Gardner is looking Fabioesque.
In MotoGP I share what most have said that A Esp deserved that. A hard fought podium must be much more satisfying than one gifted due to crashes or odd weather / lucky tyre choice. Surprise of the century was Pol holding it together, has he really turned over a new page? Will we have to start liking him? Non-surprise of the century was MM getting flustered after Martin's overtake on lap one and coming right back at him. They interviewed Jorge on DAZN just after he got back to the pits and I can assure you that I would not have been able to be so diplomatic in that situation!
