170 mph crash for MM into Maggots, lost the front tipping in. He is ok, but got to put a few doubts into your mind when that happens. It looked like it started when he was alongside or maybe just on the white line maybe? Is it a thick layer of paint and that was enough to unsettle the front tyre?

Dixon 2.998s down on the leader, he has got to be pleased with that as his 1st go on the bike all things considered. Air temp 13c & track temp was 17c at the end of Moto3 FP1. Not ideal.

"oh shit" "phew, that was fun"

Yeah, I thought he looked pretty comfortable on the bike TBH. I know looks can be deceiving but his body language looked positive, like he was enjoying it.

FQ just had one of those limb bending accidents I didnt want to watch the reply of. Looks like his ankle is 'ok' but reckon that will swell up a bit overnight.
Marquez the younger just crashed in a similar fashion to his brother. Brothers Espagaro * 2 at the top at the moment.

weird one for fabio. closed throttle partial highside. i'm not sure what to make of his 'injury' though. i know they're tough but often when a racer shows that much pain that early after a crash, they're seriously FUCKED. quartararo reminded me of a footballer. rolling around, clutching his ankle. i don't know what to make of him since he unzipped his leathers for no reason.
either way, impressive to come back out and go sub two minutes after a nasty looking tip off.

Fenati on pole with a last lap flyer, he got caught out by yellow flags on his previous lap but did 2 laps in a row on his own. That Q started off with the usual waiting for a tow nonsense, but Fenati did it all on his own. Now theres a rider who was a nutcase who has turned it around. Hogdson completely wrong with his prediction of Fenati being followed & losing his head.
Acosta didnt make Q2 again. Neither did Garcia, which will add a bit to the race.

Lowes waving the fist a bit early there. Never wise to go full Emmett.
Don't know what will happen tomorrow. I think it will be FQ lurking for the opening laps then taking an opportunity and pissing off. MM will probably crash again and Pol will go off before the end of lap 1.

Pol fluffing it is a certainty, Rins will inspect the gravel. VR will waste his fairly good pace on his 2 leg dangle shit start.
Think one of the fast red bikes will
Rooting for Iker to do well.

Fenati seems to have massive one lap pace but I doubt he can break the train around Silverstone.

Dixon first time on a MotoGP bike (2019 one, a bit slow lets remember), whats the expectaton? What has everyone else done? Race time behind winner Morbidelli +24, +15, +2, +2, +5, +5, +23 Gerloff +53 Crutchlow +40, +55
GG & CC were last, or 1 place ahead of last iirc. I think a decent result would be +40, cant see him beating anyone unless they go off track or something, there are no slow riders like Abraham to race against.
