Moto3 - Poor apart from Qatar Moto2 - Terrible performances, more so from Jake 'next time' Dixon MotoGP - Rossi SAY NO MORE, Frankie , lost mojo/injured.
If 2021 had 2020 results I think Petronas would have stayed.

Vierge gone down with covid now as well. 1 podium, 10th in the championship. Seems to be around 8th or crash. Binder the nutter blowing hot and cold but is in 6th place in the championship. McPhee has had bad luck at the start but hasnt had a podium, best was 4th in France. Dixon sometimes has pace but no decent results.
Along with covid and the upheaval in world trade, end of 3 year contract, easy to see why they have pulled the plug.
If Moto3 and Moto2 is supposed to be feeders to the MotoGP class, they haven't picked the riders I'd say. Maybe they need better talent spotters. Reports of Yamaha literally pulling the shirt of Raul Fernandez to get him to chat about signing for them, a reason why that KTM announcement broke during FP4.
2020 MotoGP a good return on their money. FB was 2nd overall, FQ won 3 races then bombed. They were 2nd in the Team Championship, hammered the factory team. 2021 MotoGP FM was lumbered with a slow 2019 bike. The factory bike was lumbered with an older fading rider no longer keeping up with the youngsters.
2022 - SRT is supposed to be the development of younger riders team. So no more homes for the older riders, they need to back to young and riders on the up.
