Rossi could quite easily be within three places of 12th I reckon.
Anyone know what the odds are of an MM victory? It must be worth a punt surely?
I can't see Oliveira repeating the trick.

I can't see Oliveira repeating the trick. 10 riders might crash I suppose I cant find any odds on MotoGP at all. Some sites want you to sign up before displaying anything. I agree, although I think the KTM will finish higher than at Qatar.

I can't call this. If KTM can get their feeling back with the Michelins then Oliveira would be worth a punt. If it wasn't for this year's Dickie form then you would take a run at Frankie or Jack. But if ifs and buts were crackers and nuts then every day would be Christmas.

Frankie disappointed the fuck out of me. He was excused the week before this Sunday's run was poor.
I'd be surprised if Olive does a runner like he did last year. You can only pull that home track shit so many times, a bit like Nicky Hayden and Laguna.

I'm stumped, I really am. The new(ish) nature of the track to the calendar, combined with the spectre of random results still looming large from last year puts me in a quandary. So here's my call. On the crest of good form and a historical Portimao podium for the team from last year, Zarco to podium as a minimum. I think Oliveira, will be jacked up on natas and coffee enough to make it on to the podium too. That's as much as I can commit to.

Cant predict for shit but I was right on Zarco getting a podium. Portimao will be facinating. We could well see the return of Dovi and Marquez. What will MM do? Does he go for win to re-assert his superiority or did that Bobby Big Bollox approach nearly end his career so he'll use his brain and ease himself back in. Personally I think he'll want to give the kids a bit of a slapdown and put them back in their place.

So what's the vibe about Yamaha? They won the first couple of races last year only to see it all go down the pan(ish). Do you think they have got things sorted this year or are we in for a repeat performance?

Too many good riders on Yamaha's. They will spend the season doing what they always do. MV, FQ and FM will just take points off each other and leave the championship to someone else.

The Yamaha DNA should see them dance round here. Oh, this is my M Marquez input:

Dovi won't be stepping in for Aprilia until he's had the second test in Mugello in May at the earliest. This weekend on DAZN they were talking about wild cards in the second half of the season or a possible take over of Savadori's seat in August, but all depending on the tests.
MM will go balls out to win, and he will win, don't know why you lot are finding it so hard to predict!

before the first race i said it wouldn't surprise me if the series heads to europe with the leader on 35 points or less and the top five or six in the championship all covered by about 10. if you discount joanne, (which i am for the rest of the year) i wasn't that far off. if i were marquez, i'd be fairly jazzed with the results from qatar. if the works yamaha pair continue to swap second and third and marc is winning races, he could be leading the championship by the time we get to das brockwurstring, round acht.
