If motogp can't run in certain places then what's the bets an island if not infected won't want to be infected?
I wonder if the TT has a year out, if it'll ever recover. Maybe but I bet some of the others won't. I bet it'll be a scorcher this year as well.

Didn't stuff get canned during the foot and mouth outbreak?

By eck lad, I'd forgotten about that one! I know remember some of my MTB trails were closed and so were various bits of the countryside.
Oddly enough if you ignored the advice it seemed plenty of others were out there ignoring it as well.

I cant find anything on the IoM claim from 2020. If they paid out of court then no wonder why 3rd party insurance has rocketed.
No news on the new Isle of Wight road races for 2023 either.

Prohibitively expensive insurance is going to be terrible. Sad days ahead.

That Isle of Wight thing always seemed a bit DOA.

I believe that crowd funding is maybe a possibility but surely seeing as spectators don't pay currently to watch road racing asking for £10 or £20 a head isn't a big ask to save the sport they love.

Very true, they've had it unbelievably good all these years, now is the time to stand up and be counted, £20 a person donation every meeting shouldn't be too much of an ask.

Good point. The only other way out is TV money but they'll never get it elevated to that point.
