There's always a BSB team out there for him.

Looks bad when the team managers don't think much of him, I hope he gets in somewhere because once he's into the WSBK or WSS scene he'll not get back out.

Just read on Crash.net that Kent will be riding a third Red Bull KTM Moto3 machine at Le Mans.

Ajo thinking down the road, in with Danny out with Ben?

Something hasn't clicked with Danny with regards to the Moto2 class; Tech3 and now this! Maybe this could be a good thing, having Ajo in his corner; it might give him some direction and focus on the problems that he's encountered. Who knows, a test on the KTM Moto2 bike might do him some good, especially under the guidance that Ajo can give him.

Some riders are just one class riders. Obviously they can still ride anything to god-like ability compared to mortals but they lack whatever it is to figure out that particular bike and cannot 'compete' on it.
Seems like Kent is looking for the puzzle to be solved as soon as he steps on a bike rather than putting the time into it. Some never get it though, look at what everyone thought would be a easy transition for a Superglue into Moto2. Never really happened apart from one or two half decent races.
I was listening to someone on the radio on the way home about what makes athletes tick and there are gulfs between them as well. Some have the drive to keep winning, keep proving something. Some reach that peak and it's job done and they can't keep the fire burning. Being a proper hateful twat like Foggy is obviously good for something. Same with Rossi, he must have something to keep proving despite the nice guy exterior.

At least he is honest with himself and the team. He never blamed the bike, he simply said that he could not be competitive on that bike.
It must be pretty difficult to admit to yourself (and to your team and sponsors) that you know that you can't meet yours and their expectations, especially when you have been W.C. in the recent past.
I think he was faced with two or three choices: stay in M2 knowing that he would always be a mid-field rider at best, throw in the towel and hope for a decent ride elsewhere, and the third choice (the one that has come out for now), go back to where you know you can be competitive.
I can certainly see why option 1 wasn’t his choice, so hats off to him for being honest and having the balls to come clean. I can’t see him staying long in Moto3 but would be happy if he did. I would rather see him in WSS or WSB.

It was rumoured that this would happen earlier in the week. Good luck to him!

Really interesting move, it'll be good to see how he's doing after a few rounds.
