For National Circuit read Mickey Mouse. Its crap to ride around compared to the full circuit. But if you like watching at Luffield you get to see them go around a lot.
New for 2023 is the BMW F900 Cup, to replace the Ducati Tri-Options. 43 going around in FP1, at a widely ranging pace. It could be tight racing or strung out precession. Michael Rutter is doing it. So is Richard Cooper, who was fastest this morning.
I couldnt get any enthusiasm to go along, cooler weather and busy Easter roads.

The circuit is trash. It seems to throw up odd results that don't carry into the rest of the season.

O'Halloran fastest after FP2. By a whisker from Haslam. Hopefully he can have a better season this year, he seems to have gelled with the BMW. Speaking of which, the BMW does better in BSB than WSBK. Brookes 4th on a BMW as well. Ryde was 3rd, in FP1 he was at the top for a long time. Iddon next on the Oxford Ducti, and ahead of Bridewell who he swapped seats with. Could Birdy get his monies worth this year?

Birdy lost some pull with the Ducati parts? I read the last couple of years he's said he's not had any support from Ducati as regards getting the bikes up to speed.

Poor track let down by poor camera angles.
Felt like a highlights show today.

Getting a feeling Bridewell will lose the title because he's too cautious. Never really pulls the pin

Well I'm none the wiser about who will be taking the title but it was good to see 3 different winners.

FHO BMW didnt do the Spanish test, had 1 dry session at the UK tests and Brookes qualified 3rd, won a race, a 2nd and 3rd and leads the championship. Quite result seeing as Brookes has been riding the Ducati for a while. The BMW is a 'new' model according to what they said on the telly, but so is the Ducati with upgraded engine.

Kyle Ryde's haircut will ruin his title chances

For all the above reasons Brookes is my man of the meeting. Still a class rider. Lots of passing but not an exciting track.

Super impressed by Franco Bourne in the superstock races. 18 years old with a big future.

Yes, he's looking like a new Crutchlow/laverty/Haslem type. Those Ss1000 times were very close to BSB now.
