I bet Vickers easily won the crash damage championship.

Amazing tribute to Chrissy Rouse at Brands. Matt Roberts could barely hold it together, such was the impact of his death. Just so sad. The Crissy Rouse tributes were hard to watch, especially with Matt Roberts choking up (not that I blame him). Great to see the whole paddock and supporting cast come together. Regarding overtakes and rider contact, the question that needs to be asked is; Are the British circuits unsuitable for 200+ bhp, 1000cc motorcycles?

Goddards is a slow corner. Accidents in the high-speed bends don't seem to happen as much, it's nearly always the braking zones that shit happens. I think the most potentially dangerous corners are Craner given the overlap out of the old hairpin.
I've not watched top level racing live for a while until I went to Cadwell this summer and I'd swear blind some of the 600s were taking the corners quicker than the 1000s.
If anything, I think the aggression level in racing in general has gone up a notch over the years. Last year Hickman was claiming it was getting 'feral' and it does seem to have got harder and a bit more elbows out across the whole spectrum of bikesport. Maybe it's the Marquez effect. He did seem to bring a new level of give no fucks to the proceedings.
