Brookes for the treble, because he has gotten rid of his mullet!

I think the mullet went a while back. I guess he's just an old bastard now

Amazing tribute to Chrissy Rouse at Brands.
Matt Roberts could barely hold it together, such was the impact of his death. Just so sad.

Odd day and bit of a muted championship after what happened.
It would have criminal tbh if Ray hadn't won as was clearly the best overall. Didn't they say he averaged 18 points per round?
At least Jackson was ok, that looked like it was going nowhere good at high speed at one point.

Ray is 133 points ahead under the real points, he has dominated the year.

Jackson obviously didn't get away with it. Not racing today.

Andy Irwine looked like he was going to try a pass there whether it was on or not. He knew he wasnt going to make it and stood it upright as he was in danger of clobbering Glenn as well. I hope he doesnt get a front running bike next year. O'Halloran ends up on the floor again.

Ray out, Jackson out, Skinner out, Mackenzie out, Bridewell pitlane and Sykes and Brookes back to doing nothing. I guess Hickman and the like have to make hay.

Glenn Irwine 'I looked behind me and couldn't see my brother or Jason,,,,,,, oh, er, I dont really have to guess too hard do I? ' Results still not published yet, but to be consistent Irwin should be DSQ'd like Hickman at Oulton.

Byrne saying its getting too much like F1,arent they allowed to overtake anymore to go for a podium? He previously said he thought Irwin stood it up as he was afraid of losing the front.
But he went for that line into the corner, his choice and he fucked it up.
Bridewell finished 5th after starting from pit lane, so its possible to overtake without knocking someone off.
The rules say:
B2.6 Riding which results in avoidable or unfair contact with another competitor.
If its in the rules then they should be applied consistently, which they have, Irwine was given 20s penalty, equivalent of a ride through penalty.
Its been a bad fortnight for racers, and Byrne was nearly crippled by the sport. You might think he would consider that. Unless he thinks you know the risks before signing up and you should take the consequences if it goes wrong. If Byrne wants the rules changed, he needs to go and speak to RD.

So who scored most points then? Ray's worst round, the last one. Otherwise he hammered them. O'Halloran had a great mid-season, scored loads of points, then had loads of 0's when people decided to try dubious passes on him. Definitely the 2nd best performer. G Irwin had a good 1st round, and last 3 rounds. In between was average. MacKenzie was good when he was fit. Bradley Ray 542 Jason O'halloran 399 Glenn Irwin 364 Tommy Bridewell 337 Lee Jackson 324 Danny Buchan 263 Kyle Ryde 260 Rory Skinner 254 Peter Hickman 243 Tarran Mackenzie 226 Leon Haslam 195 Tom Sykes 181 Andrew Irwin 158 Josh Brookes 156 Christian Iddon 135 Ryan Vickers 65 Danny Kent 65 Storm Stacey 38 Chrissy Rouse 18 Ryo Mizuno 16 Tom Neave 11 Takumi Takahashi 11 Daniel Linfoot 7 Dean Harrison 7 Josh Owens 7 www.tsl-timing.com/file/?f=BSB/2022/224104ptssbk.pdf
