Well the race was ok if lacking a bit of tension as Bridewell and Jackson didn't bring it to Ray.
Funny that Sykes has only just managed to get the best out of the bike now the season is over.

BSS was cut and thrust, havent seen that much action in that class in recent years but that was like the good old days. TBA was exciting to watch, he could have won that at one stage. His results in WSS look to be more down to the bike now, although is BSS standard that high? SSTK1000 was pretty good as well, Skippy was bouncing all over the place. BSB R1. Sykes showing what a great rider he is, around Donington. It must be a lot different riding without TC, but really? I think Birdy was nearly in tears, as he had pay out a win bonus

I've felt that the standard in BSS is really low for years now. JK has pissed it with ease and he is defo on the way down now. He probably peaked as a rider a few years ago. I think it will show in BSB next year what his level is. TBA probably would have cleared off in that race with either a bit more set-up time of if he was on a Yamaha. Made for an exciting race though.
Barring a disaster Brad Ray is going to win the title and I'm more interested in where he is going to go in 2023? There was talk online of Tarran going WSB with one of the Yamaha teams (not Crescent or GRT) but surely Brad will be the one to move up after this year? Not been keeping my hand in so I've no idea what rides are still available. Skinner to Moto2 seems a done deal.

Thats ruined Sykes' title chase.
O'Halloran had that bike snaking for quite a distance. Another 'usually a safe rider' wipes someone out, albeit different circumstances.
Glenn Irwine did well to finish 3rd sans a footpeg.
Ray nicks the lap record. Roll on Brands.

From his co-presenting pundit chat, why do I get the impression that the ex-PBM rider Christian Iddon, 4th last year but who was cast aside, doesnt think Sykes has been doing a good job this year, until this weekend

Chrissy Rouse crashed at Goddards, they didnt say much at the time or show a replay. Hopefully the induced coma is just precautionary & its not too bad. www.britishsuperbike.com/news/2022/oct/2/msvr-statement-chrissy-rouseIn Bennetts British Superbike Championship race three at Donington Park circuit earlier today (Sunday), Chrissy Rouse crashed heavily on the opening lap of the race, exiting Goddards Corner. The race was immediately stopped.
Chrissy Rouse sustained a significant head injury. He was stabilised and put in a medically induced coma at the medical centre by the BSB medical team before being transferred to Queens Medical Centre/University Hospital, Nottingham for further investigations and treatment.

Skinner to Moto2 seems a done deal. Lets hope you're right. I read a Speedweek article this week which basically said that there would only be one Brit in Moto 2 next year, Dixon.

Hopefully Rouse will recover. Don't want him and Rea in the same boat. Weird corner to get a serious injury at as it fairly slow.
Title is Ray's unless he bins first race and Bridewell and Irwin clean house.
Bss is still confusing as fuck with the gp2 stuff. I'd rather watch Aprilia rs660s or something as the class feels redundant now.
