What happened next? Another runaway win for Ray, he doesnt deserve the attention being taken away from Hickman's antics. Before this weekend he was 52 points ahead of O'halloran anyway, on the real points tally. Luckily it wasn't Ray who got clobbered. Hickman has had just 1 podium so far this year. Maybe bonuses (or lack of them) came into this last lap lunge. After the collision, Haslam nipped through for 3rd anyway. Reading through the comments on the BSB FB page, he has more fans than O'halloran.

The O Show has been shut down already. Same for MacKenzie. Going to both need some big wins to get back on track now.
Apart from the crashing the racing was pretty boring. Oulton seems to have got more follow my leader as the years have progressed.

I like Hicky but that was a Rea type half hearted excuse for an apology. Racing these tracks with fuck all run off is dangerous enough without crazy moves like these.

You can see Hickman was on a different trajectory in the still, and that was just as O'halloran had his handlebar knocked. Will he stick to his view after seeing it again, like Rea did. FB is awash with comments like Hickman was 90% through, O'halloran should have seen him and lifted up, etc. Thankfully Stuart Higgs has been impartial, I wonder what the over dinner chat was like with his wife Faye Ho

Fuck me, I thought that was a Romboni broken leg moment for Skinner, I felt sick watching that. Then he walked away.
O'Halloran taken down at the same corner again. That should be a DSQ for Bridewell if Higgs is being consistent. MacKenzie has ended his chances this season, hope he is ok.

Pretty nasty looking stuff.
Jackson's move for the lead in race 2 (third go) was superb.

I wish I'd called the thread title something else now, that was a brutal weekend.

Rory Skinner may come back as Roxanne Skinner after that one. Brutal.

Oulton always gives ragged edge racing and Sunday was another level. Brutal. Bridewell is generally a safe passer but that move and his post race comments were out of order. Jason will probaby benefit from memory loss after that whack on the head.
Taz caused his own crash but the last man you want to run you over is big Hicky. Season ending injury i suspect.
Skinner's crash was fucking painful to watch. Horrible.
Ray's to lose now but fucking hell i wouldn't be surprised if Bridewell won it now.

Skinner has several broken bones in his hand, requiring surgery. Iddon was briefly knocked out so will miss next weekend's round.

It looked like a clean move from Hicky in my opinion...Bridewells seemed a bit more of a speculative effort. Regardless, I think Higgs should have handed out the same penalties for both riders if he deemed the moves were over the line.
Quite a statement from Bridewell about O-show though!

I would also say, that Ive ridden around Oulton a LOT, and the thought of passing someone there has never even entered my head...Granted, Im not BSB level, but when I was up against guys of my level, it was still not a passing point.

Yeah, I think this is what people are on about, not that the door may have been open a bit but the fact it's not a place you want to send someone off at. Leave it until Lodge. Bridewell was perhaps a bit over the top, pretty sure it wasn't like he came across a novice group rider or something.

Hickman came from a lot further back than Bridewell, assuming both cameras are the same. Bridewell was right up his chuff, Hickman's was a big lunge. Is that why the penalties were different?
Was O'Halloran wide? In the 1st clip, he was indeed about 30cm further to the left of that mark down the track than Bridewell who was ahead of him. Thats not gap to get a bike through cleanly.
