This story about tyre pressures. What do make of it?
Ducati are saying lower doesn't mean better. Why should tyre pressure be regulated anyway? Low pressures usually mean more wear?

They all do it, it's just that Ducati got caught! As with regard to lower tyre pressures vs. wear, it depends on the bike set up/characteristics, riding style, track temperature etc.

It's not cheating if they all do it. From what I have read it is actually a good workaround for shit Michelin front tyres. The "gentleman's agreement" to not check the pressures was almost certainly based on the argument that if they ran spec pressures there would be more crashes.

Seems the aero packages are putting a lot of stress on the front tyre when breaking so it heats up and the air pressure rises. Also following someone close it cant cool down. So thats why slipstreaming then overtaking causes problems, like Miller into Mir at Portimao was the example they gave.
I think the minimum tyre pressure rule is a safety thing, but they are side stepping enforcing it as it would cause more crashes.
Ban aero crap I say.

Ducati now have too much power and invested the most in aero. With Suzuki gone I don't know think dorna will poke the bear.
