Bloody hell. I remember when I doing the Krystal Racing stuff for Lee Jackson the elder and Lee Jackson was riding around the paddoc on a BMX. Well done lad.

Finally caught up with yesterday's racing. Jackson was brilliant, well pleased for him and the team. It's really mixed it up and looking like a close fight this year again. I'm chewing on a slice of humble pie with regards Liam Haslam. Fair play to him, he's found something and should go well at Donington. Race 3 was excellent.

I can remember there being some good hard charges from the back of the grid at Oulton. Rymer (or was that Truxton) Defo Thruxton. 1996? Yes, Rymer's was at Thruxton when Ducati had an advantage. I think he had just done Le Mans 24 hours or some other endurance race and skipped qualifying. Was it Hodgson at Oulton? Back to Monday, 2nd race was good. I honestly thought Jackson was Jackson who has been around for ages, not his son Good to see a new winner. BTC was good again. At Silverstone I was impressed with Crosby as a) he did loads of passing and b) he had an all yellow bike and was easy to follow. This weekend it looked like he lacked acceleration and top speed, but did some excellent passing. 1st race he was unlucky to get caught up in someone else's accident, then highsided short of the line after passing someone and running a bit wide.
