i can't see any of those three being on the podium. if it's dry, quartararo. i think rins will be there too. honda won't. unless we're at austin, sachsenring or aragon, i'm not sure they'll do anything until they've had a test.

Miller is the most likely to repeat, and that's saying something.
Agree about Rins, he's definitely turned the corner.
Aleix could pull a crafty podium out of the bag I reckon.
If any Honda makes it, it'll be Marc.

FQ AR & JM I think. (JM being Jack Miller, Jorge Martin, Joan Mir). AE, EB are both 2022 winners, so cant discount them. Or MM. Or JZ.

interesting points from the jerez press conference.
1. there is a test on monday but marc plans to use all his time in jerez to find a base setup because they're not even close to one.
2. aleix wants to do two more years with aprillia, is still holding out for more money and has absolutely no other offers from any other factories.
3. fabio used last years dry settings in portimao because the bike and base setting he has is the same as 2021.
so in summary, aleix wants to play hardball with his employer but doesn't have a leg to stand on and fabio will be world champion if it continues to piss down on the friday and saturday of a race weeknd.

Looks like Fabio just got a nutshot off his bike. He was lucky he didn't actually go over the highside with that one. Pace seems a bit hot for Fp1.

Hard to say with a damp circuit but the pace was still fairly hot. Suzuki maybe in for a good weekend? I think Marquez the elder will crash again.
Also only just noticed how anonymous Frankie M has become. They mentioned him once at the end. He's a real non-entity now.
I also think if I was Emmett I'd have smashed Neil Hodgson across the head with a microphone by now. Need to quick put-down gag...make some joke about something you are better than Emmett about.

Scott Ogden going well in FP2, 7th.
Agreed about Hodgson, he is getting tiresome with continual put downs of the others.

Marquez needs pull a rabbit out of the hat again. Maybe he was just keeping his powder dry but then again he also crashed.
Could be a boring race like last time.

Dixon has the speed, leading FP1 AND FP2, but...

Dixon is a Sunday man. He crashes on Sundays.

M Marquez not sounding too confident. Bagnaia currently fastest. Bezzecchi currently 10th before the qualifying for qualifying starts in FP3. Anything could happen.

Then MM follows Miller around and gets 4th. Miller was 7th and not happy.

aleix fuming that marc 'follows an aprilia' in practice then he follows maverick's aprilia to set the third fastest time from nowhere.
