This sometimes throws up the odd result. Weather forecast looks good. Will Haslam and Sykes return to UK and kick arse? unlikely from testing, but thats testing. The test earlier saw Bridewell top, but not many did the final session. Taz out, O'Halloran down the list. www.tsl-timing.com/file/?f=BSB/2022/221413copsbk.pdfBuchan went well at other tests iirc. Skinner is younger and on the rise. I wouldnt be confident to predict a top 3 for this one, or the season.

Ducati 1,2,3 of Sykes, Brookes and Bridewell. Maybe.

Wtf are Sykes and Haslam doing? Bruno Brookes is also not that great.

Give them a chance. It's only free practice. Although being a Yorkshire man Sykes should like the free part. Boom boom. 🙂

The O Show was apparently on lap record busting pace so he's not fucking about. I guess the showdown allows dudes like Sykes a decent amount of time to get up to speed and still win. Even more so with it now being top 8.

Hmmm...the actual race was pretty boring stuff until the last couple of laps. Follow my leader stuff for the most part. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
The 600 class is still dogshit. I thought they were moving to the WSS rules but the GP2 crap seems to still be there.

This track isn't the best for excitement apart from teammates taking each other out. Decent pace from the first three and Glenn Irvine rode the perfect race. Strong race by Skinner, he's getting the hang of the superbike. Poor show from Sykes + Brookes

I'll excuse Sykes more than Brookes. Been a long time since he didn't have TC.

I decided to go along to Saturday's racing. I havent got the bike on the road so took the van and didnt fancy queuing to get in and out on a Sunday. The best race was the British Talent Cup, at the end 8 riders trading places, worth catching on TV whenever they show it. BSB was ok, but a bit processional. Glenn Irwin couldnt relax for a moment. Haslam's bike blew coming onto the S/F straight, luckily he was missed by those following. BSS was uninspiring. The crowd wasnt that large, enough to fill Luffield grandstand for Q but it was only 1/5th full for the racing. Guess people stood on terracing in the sun as in the shade it was a bit cold. Drove out after BSS and didnt stop once until the roundabout getting on to the M3, 85 miles from the circuit.

Excellent race 2. Got to say Glenn Irvine was amazing after smashing himself up testing. Great race for the podium positions. Enjoyed that.

I didnt know Glenn Irwine had injured himself so badly. That and the late arrival of parts, he did a great job.
BTC R2 was as exciting as yesterdays, but 3 fell off in the last corners today.

Usually I watch live but I decided to go cycling, then go out to the bike cafe as I didn't think I'd be missing much. Guess I was right.
Still a bit surprised Haslam didn't do anything of note. Tbh I'd rather see bit of a changing of the guard as it's a bit stale with Brookes, Haslam, Bridewell up front.
That circuit is an utter load of cock though. Id rather watch Mallory.
