Fuck me, he took loads of time out on the brakes. It was like watching trackday pro Vs intermediate. The Americans must have been thinking wtf. I guess when you are used to hauling stuff up from 220mph then those bikes will be playthings.

Well it's FINAL round time with 1 POINT IN IT! and Petrucci has been consistent as fuck and a bit lucky on couple of occasions that Gagne binned it pushing too hard.
I hope he wins as it suits my narrative that Americans can't ride for fuck these days and will allow me to annoy people on various Youtube channels that feature people (usually Americans) crashing and being shit.
Some of those American tracks look pretty cool tbh. I only really know the main ones from driving sims and watching some older circuit racing back in the day.

Well, Tito Rabat pissed the Spanish Superbike Championship too, but he's getting loads of stick for it.
Even he publicly said that he would rather be the "head of a mouse rather than a tail of a lion" (the Spanish equivalent of saying he prefers being a big fish in a small pond) but on FB people are ripping into him asking if next years he'll race in a local junior 250 singles class against 14 year olds to ensure he wins another title...
Its a double edged sword isn't it- Redding went from GPs to British but then bounced back up and was competitive again at top level. Can't see Rabat doing that, but what about Petrucci? What's next?

Well he didn't win the title. Rinaldi got signed anyway and Gardner got the Yamaha. I guess another year of grinning and riding a bike that's not best suited to the tyres in MotoAmerica it is then?
